Pittsburgh at Colorado

The Pittsburgh Pirates have been one of the worst teams in baseball for a decade running. On the road, they are definitely at the bottom of the barrel despite a 7-6 mark coming into this one. I expect that to erode quickly as the season moves forward. Colorado used to have to win with their bats, but they now have a better balance with some good starting pitching and pen. The Rockies are still overpowering righthanders at home to the tune of a 51-24 mark in their last 75. The Pirates’ road woes have found no cure in the Rockies as they are 3-10 in their last 13 here. Colorado gets the call.
