The Pittsburgh Pirates are 14-29 this year. It is tough to ignore the Indians at home at this price as they send out Paul Byrd who has started to settle in as one of the Indians' strongholds in the pitching staff. The Indians are 3-0 in interleague play, 4-1 in their last five as home favorites, 8-2 in interleague play against teams with a losing record. They are also 4-1 against the Pirates of late in Cleveland. Malhom starts for the Pirates and still holds an era of 6.6 as the Pirates are 2-10 in their last 12 interleague games as underdogs of +150 to +200, 0-3 in Malholm's last three road starts and 15-43 of late as road underdogs of +150 to +200. The big reason for this play, though, is offense. Cleveland is scoring 5.9 per game overall and at home with Pittsburgh is scoring just 3.5 per game on the road batting .223. Cleveland will overpower Pittsburgh and Byrd will do enough. Indians here.
