Chicago has won four of its past five games after defeating the Pirates 4-2 on Tuesday when Yasmani Grandal and Jose Abreu homered and five relievers combined to pitch four-hit ball for the White Sox. Pittsburgh fell to 20-46 on the road while Chicago is 45-24 at home and Carlos Rodon takes the mound tonight and he is 10-5 with a 2.43 ERA. Rodon is coming off a good outing against Toronto when he allowed two runs on five hits in five innings in his first appearance since August 7. Rodon has a 1.84 ERA in 11 night games this season. Max Kranick will make his fifth start for the Pirates and he has given up 16 runs on 26 hits in 20 innings. Pittsburgh is 26-57 its past 83 interleague road games versus teams with winning records and 17-41 overall following a loss. Take the White Sox.
