The Pirates have a lot more depth on the bench and in the pen, and should have a significant edge here. The Cubs will go with former Boston starter Felix Doubront, who has had no success at 3-4 with a huge 5.56 ERA. Francisco Liriano has deserved better with five quality starts in his last six turns, but failed to record a win in August despite the efforts. Liriano has a strong track record vs. Chicago where he owns a 2.59 ERA in eight career starts against them. The Cubs have been futile as a big home dog from +151 to +200 where they have posted just an 11-29 mark in their last 40. Play on Pittsburgh in this one.
