Pittsburgh at Chicago

Chicago's pitching has been great all season, and the anemic Pittsburgh offense is in town, a team that has scored 19 runs the last eight games (five losses, while getting shut out three times). This is one of the worst offenses in baseball, 24th in runs scored, 26th in OBP, and 24th in slugging despite playing half their games in a small park. Starter Jeff Locke allows a lot of free passes (28 walks in 69+ innings), and he has a 6.10 ERA against the Cubs. The Pirates are 3-8 in Locke's last 11 road starts.  This is the eigth home game over the last 10 contests for Chicago, and starter Edwin Jackson is an excellent strikeout pitcher (56 in 58+ innings), so he will like this punchless Pittsburgh offense. Play the Cubs on the Run-Line.
