Pittsburgh at Chicago

Chicago remains atop the NL Central despite recent struggles. They won last night and I like them in today's matinee, thanks to Jon Lester. The five-time All Star is 9-6 with a 3.12 ERA when facing the Pirates. Pittsburgh is just 9-12 this season vs. left-handed pitchers. Meanwhile, the Cubbies are 30-16 at home where opponents managed just 3.7 runs per game. Jordan Lyles goes for the Pirates and he is just 13-39 in games where he is installed as an underdog in the +125 to +175 range. Lester is 28-8 the last two seasons as a favorite. Back the Cubs here.
