Pittsburgh at Chicago

No team has been as big a surprise in the early going as Pittsburgh as they are off to an 8-2 start. The offense has done something not seen in Pittsburgh in nearly a century, as the Pirates' 66 runs through 10 games is the most since 1923, and there have been some strong teams in that mix. The Pirates have produced five runs per game vs. the Cubs in the last nine games, and the offense right now is certainly in a better place than those games. Chicago was shutout in back-to-back games, but have since averaged five per game in their last five and have been hitting much better. Both of these offenses are better places than their pitching right now, so back the OVER in this one.
