Pittsburgh at Boston

The Boston Red Sox have taken the first two games in this series vs. Pittsburgh. Their supposedly dominating offense, was shutout last night for 11 innings, and just dominating performances by their top-heavy rotation carried the day. I think the Pirates are in a much favorable matchup today. History indicates that may indeed be the case as in Game 3 of a series that features a home favorite that won the first two, also as a home favorite, have a losing record despite the average line being -151. That looks a lot like this one, and no team likes to get swept. Historically, the Pirates are in the favorable spot to avoid the broom. Play on Pittsburgh.
