The Atlanta Braves made a decision to go the rebuilding route for this season, and not a lot was expected. Right now, however, the Braves are swinging the bats as well as any team in either league, having scored six or more runs in five straight games, and look to tie the season high of six straight with 6+ runs. They may not need nearly that many behind Williams Perez who shutout the Giants over seven innings in his last start. Charlie Morton has pitched well for the Pirates, and has induced 36 ground ball outs in his first two starts, but has yet to record a win vs. his former team in two tries against them. The Pirates also own just a 2-6 record in Morton's last eight road starts. The Braves have been big at home following a seven day or longer road trip, opening up the homestand at 75-36 in their last 111. Take the Braves in this one.
