The Pittsburgh Pirates, since surrendering five straight games, has come back to go 6-5 over their last 11 and have not lost more than one in a row in those 11. Many forget the Pirates were 5-44 through 95 games a year ago, until injuries shortened their lineup and pitching depth was not there. The Braves are 13-7 but Randall Delgado has been the weak link of their starters as he has pitched to a very hittable 5.94 ERA on the season. The Pirates gamble on Eric Bedard has yet to show up in the win column as he is a very deceptive 0-4 with a stellar 2.64 ERA and is back in form. The Pirates have won five straight after a loss and have the better pitcher here in the role of a dog. Play on Pittsburgh.
