It is amazing to see what has happened with the emerging Washington Nationals. The Philadelphia Phillies are considered to have the best pitching in baseball, but to this point that has not been true. The Washington Nationals aren't just out-pitching the Phillies, they are doing so by almost a full run per game. When it comes to the bullpen the advantage is extended to 1.25 runs per game. Couple that with the fact that without Howard in the production hole of the lineup the Phillies have found scoring to be a chore, as they have already scored 2 runs or less 12 times this season. The Nats are suddenly 31-13 in their last 44 games overall, have become the top dog in the NL. Play on Washington.
