Can't trust the foldin' Phillies on the road, or anywhere for that matter, riding a 2-8 run. This has been an aging, underachieving bunch that has packed it in, losing 16 of the last 19 contests.  The offense is 24th in baseball in runs scored and on base percentage. Starter Kyle Kendrick has been hittable all year and is in a funk with a 1-2 record and an 8.36 ERA his last three starts. The Phillies are 8-22 in their last 30 road games and 3-25 as an underdog of +201 or greater!  Washington has ace Stephen Strasburg going with 28 Ks and only four walks his last three starts (22 innings). The Nationals are 38-15 in their last 53 home games against a team with a road winning percentage of less than .400, as well as 7-1 in their last eight vs. a team with a losing record. The Phillies are 1-6 in the last seven meetings in Washington, so play the Nationals.
