Philadelphia at Texas

Texas is a terrific offensive park and Philadelphia has scored 10 runs in the first two games. But they've lost both, including an embarrassing 16-3 defeat yesterday. The NL Champs look to turn things around with starter Bailey Falter. Falter has outstanding control that is needed in a home-run-happy park like Texas walking only 17 in 84 innings last season. He had a 2.42 ERA on the road. The Phillies are 17-7 after allowing 10 runs or more in consecutive contests, as well as 33-11 after giving up nine or more runs in back-to-back games. Texas has had a great start in two games, but they were 34-47 both home and away last year. The Rangers are just 23-29 as a home favorite, plus 18-35 after two straight games making no errors.
