The Giants got out of Philadelphia even. The hot bat of Cody Ross has been just about all the offense the Giants have had, but it was enough to get the game two win. The Giants have scored all of 8 runs in their last three playoffs games - Ross has driven in 5 of them. It won't be surprising to see him get nothing to hit the rest of this series, as the Phillies pitch around him and make the rest of the lineup beat them. That may be enough, because Matt Cain has been pitching with a hot hand, shutting out the Braves for 6.2 innings in the first round. Overall, Cain hasn’t allowed a run in three of his last five starts. Cole Hamels has also been a hot pitcher, so I'm not expecting a lot of runs here. Hamels’ last 29 starts have resulted in a 21-8 mark to the UNDER. The Giants have come up big after a loss, at 24-9 in their last 33, including 6-0 behind Cain. They are also 9-1-2 to the UNDER in their last 12 as a home dog. The Phillies are 23-9 in Hamel's last 32 starts as a road favorite. San Francisco wins here and the total finishes UNDER.
