The San Francisco Giants looked like they were going to run away and hide from the rest of the teams in the NL. The Giants owned a 42-21 record through 63 games, but they have fallen flat on their faces since. The Giants are 21-37 in their last 58 games, amongst the worst teams in baseball since their torrid start. Tim Hudson has pitched well enough to win, but the Giants simply aren't producing enough, and he has one lone win to show for his last 10 starts. Philadelphia has played remarkably well on the road all season, and own four straight wins against the NL West, and stand at 6-2 against a starter with a WHIP below 1.15 in their last eight. The Giants are 5-15 in their last 20 at home vs. a right-handed starter, and simply aren't getting it done. Back the Phillies.
