If you like offensive baseball, don’t watch this game! The Giants offense is terrible, 29th in runs scored and on-base percentage, plus 28th in slugging. We’ve seen the struggles in this series, scoring 0, 2 and 1 run against the Phillies as they wrap up a four game series here. Two of those three games went UNDER the total and it’s tough to see that offense scoring much against the Phillies today, the team with the top ERA in baseball. Roy Oswalt goes here, back from rehab, and reports are he was throwing great in Triple A and said he feels great. At least the Giants unveil their ace in Tim Lincecum. Lincecum has a 1.35 ERA his last three starts and is 3-1 lifetime against the Phillies, with a 2.82 ERA, fanning 60 in 54 innings. The UNDER is 17-2 in the Phillies last 19 road games with the total set at 6.5 or lower and the UNDER is 31-14-1 in Giants last 46 home games.
