The Phillies staff is tough and the talked about trio of Oswalt, Lee and Halladay leaves Cole Hamels often overlooked. Hamels is carrying a 2.62 ERA into this contest with the Giants and San Francisco isn't exactly a hard hitting power packed lineup. He should fare very well here. So should Matt Cain with his 3.10 ERA, which has seen the Giants go 10-4 to the UNDER in his last 14 starts overall. The Giants' limited lineup has really been held in check of late by southpaws as they have a 5-0 UNDER mark in their last five facing one. The Phillies have an amazing UNDER mark of 16-2 when they take to the road with a total of 6.5 or less in their last 18. Hamels is a momentum pitcher and, if he is off a quality start in his last appearance, he has followed by going 40-19-5 to the UNDER in his next start, whic is applicable here in this one. The UNDER gets the call.
