Philadelphia at Pittsburgh

Pittsburgh lost a tough one on Saturday on first baseman Michael Chavis' throwing error as the Phillies won 2-1 in 10 innings. The Pirates will try to salvage the finale of the series with JT Brubaker starting today's game, and he has pitched much better than his record indicates. Brubaker has allowed only five runs in 18 innings his last three starts with nothing to show for it, and Philadelphia hitters are batting just .215 against him in 32 at-bats. Aaron Nola has been inconsistent lately, and the Phillies have lost three of his last four starts, including 6-3 to Atlanta on Tuesday when he gave up five runs on seven hits in six innings. The Phillies are 6-15 their past 21 Sunday games, and Pittsburgh is getting good line value as a home underdog. Play the Pirates.
