It's been a long road trip thus far as Philly plays their seventh in a row away from home here. They have been very good on this trip and have won three straight and six of seven. Brett Myers has a nice 2-1 record but his ERA is not very good. He easily could have gotten a loss vs. Colorado, a game in which he allowed 6 runs and 11 hits in seven innings. Paul Maholm is coming off a much better performance allowing just 1 run on 4 hits in six innings vs. the Marlins. Over his last three starts he's got a 2.76 ERA. The past three seasons he is 14-5 at home when the total is 9 or 9.5. Dating back to last season, the Pirates are 15-6 revenging two straight home losses. We like the Pirates here.
