While this looks like the line you'd see for this game going into the season, it certainly doesn't fit what has been happening in the NL East. The Phillies have to be wondering about their immediate future with Roy Halladay on the shelf for 6-8 weeks, an unproductive lineup and, believe it or not, a winless Cliff Lee after Memorial Day. The Mets unloaded Reyes and Beltran, and have gotten addition by subtraction. David Wright has become the team leader and is showing it on the field where the Mets are 28-22. The numbers look good for Cliff Lee, but not the results as the Phillies are just 2-6 in his last eight starts as a favorite. The Mets have saved their best baseball for rugged NL East division play where they are 8-3 in their last 11 and have handed the Phillies four losses in their last five meetings. Play on New York.
