The Mets offense was really clicking early in the season, but they have gone ice-cold. They are hitting a buck 73 in their last five games. Terry Collins tried to shuffle the lineup before Friday's game, but to no avail as the Mets were shutout 4-0. Jonathan Pettibone had a good first start striking out six and did not walk a batter in his MLB debut. Injured Shaun Marcum will pitch for the Mets for the first time this season as he has battled shoulder problems and the expectations are low, at least out of the gate. Ryan Howard loves the Mets where he has swatted 36 HR's, the most against any team. The Mets offensive problems continue after scoring 2 runs or less in their previous game and are now 4-12 in the last 16 after doing so. Play on Philadelphia.
