Philadelphia at Minnesota

Have the Phillies been reduced to even with the Minnesota Twins who lost 99 games a year ago? That may or may not be the case, but for tonight it is. Kyle Kendrick has worked his way in and out of the Phillies rotation, but mostly out. Injuries give him another chance tonight, but when you pitch for a team that has been well over .500 the last two years and they are 9-13 when you take the ball, things haven't worked out so well. It has been a tough go for Nick Blackburn, but lately it hasn't mattered with the Twins winning each of his last three starts. The Twins are a hot offense right now, leading them to a 9-3 mark over their last 12, as they have averaged better than 5 runs per game during the stretch. The Phillies are an ice cold team right now, and Kendrick has not been one to stop a losing streak at 0-5 after a Phillies loss. Play on Minnesota.
