The season hasn't gone according to plan for either of these teams. Miami fortified their rotation and lineup with some key additions to compete with Philadelphia, but have fallen short of expectations. The Phillies have gotten zero wins from Cliff Lee as we approach the all-star break and Roy Halladay is on the shelf. The lineup is aging and not as potent as it once was. Joe Blanton has close to a five ERA in his last three years in Philly hasn't gotten it done. Ricky Nolasco is having a similar year in Miami, so where is the edge? The Phillies are eight games below .500, but 11 games below .500 in just their last 19 playing worse than they have in several years. They have lost four straight to the Marlins and overall have dropped five straight on the road. This team is getting to much reputation respect. Play on Miami.
