Philadelphia at Los Angeles

Everyone wondered what was wrong with the Los Angeles Angels the last two seasons, as well as the first part of this season. They have a star-studded lineup and a solid rotation, but they just didn't make it happen on the field. That has changed and this team has taken on the look of a team that could go deep into the postseason. Philadelphia is desperate for starting pitching, but when you have a team with a horrible pitching staff, such as Texas, that puts a pitcher on waivers, and the Phillies claiming him is certainly questionable. They will go with claimed starter Jerome Williams, who has had a nightmare of a season at 2-5 with a 6.71 ERA. The Angels' bats should be full of life in this one. The Phillies are in one of their worst spots on top of it, as they are a woeful 4-28 in their last 32 games as a dog from +201 and up. The Angels are 22-6 in their last 28 at home vs. a team with a losing record and should be ready to pile it on at home tonight. Play on LA on the runline.
