This is the same pitching matchup as was on Sunday when Cincinnati pulled out a 6-4 win, but Taijuan Walker actually pitched better than his counterpart, Connor Overton, who gave up four runs on six hits in four innings. Overton has allowed nine runs on 14 hits in eight innings this year although Cincinnati has given him plenty of run support and won both games. Walker gave up two runs on three hits in 4 2/3 innings. Philadelphia has won six of the past eight meetings and the Reds have lost six of their past eight games overall.
