We were on Boston three days ago as they won 10-2. Laid off two days ago and they won again. I'm back on on 'em today as they go for the sweep with Wakefield on the mound. Boston is hot hot hot. They have won eight straight games. Philly has lost four straight and they are 1-3 against Wakefield who comes in with a 2.97 home ERA. Boston is now 9-2 vs over the past three seasons vs. Philadelphia including 4-1 here in Bean Town. The Red Sox are 10-1 now in interleague play this season. Their bats are smoking and over the past two seasons they are 20-4 at home when they've posted an OBP of .393 or higher over the prior three games. The Sox are also 40-12 the last two seasons at home vs. losing teams. Boston scores 5.8 per game at home - a full run more than Philly scores on the road. Add to that the recent trends and its much more prounounced. Over the past seven games, Boston is averaging 8.0 per game while Philly is getting 3.7 per game. Red Sox here.
