Alex Cora continues to do wonders with the Boston Red Sox, who were picked to finish fourth by some experts, but the Sox have the best record in the American League and won again 11-5 over the Phillies on Friday night. Kike Hernandez hit another leadoff home run and J.D. Martinez added a three-run homer for Boston's seventh win in 10 games. Philadelphia continues to tread water as it hovers near the .500 mark and it faces Martin Perez and the Red Sox have won his last four starts, including 5-4 over the Angels on Monday when he allowed two runs in 5 1/3 innings. The Phillies are batting only .207 against Perez in 109 at-bats. Matt Moore will make his third start for the Phillies, who have lost three of four to the Red Sox this season. Philly has lost 11 of its past 15 interleague games and Boston is 53-16 its past 69 interleague games as a favorite. Take the Red Sox.
