Philadelphia at Atlanta

The Braves have had quite a surprising season, and it has become so with their body of work at home that shows a 55-23 tally. They have gotten a good look at Brandon Beachy, a top pitching prospect, and he has delivered at the major league level with a 2.89 ERA in his two starts. He was impressive and dominating in his last outing, fanning nine in just five innings. The Phillies have been the NL's version of the Twins, dominating in the second half, but with things wrapped up the intensity has dissipated. The Phillies are now just 2-3 in their last five, despite playing the NY Mets and Washington. The Braves have gone 41-15 n their last 56 as a home favorite and with a pitcher on the mound trying to open some eyes, I like them in this spot.
