Atlanta got off to a bad start and never recovered losing 12-2 to the Phillies on Friday after giving up six runs in the first inning. It snapped a three-game winning streak for the Braves, who look to bounce back with Ian Anderson on the mound tonight. The right-hander is 2-1 with a 3.27 ERA and .215 opposing batting average overall and .194 at home. Last year at home, Anderson allowed only two earned runs in 14 2/3 innings. The Phillies have won five straight and Vince Velasquez pitched his best game in three starts beating Milwaukee 4-3 at home on Monday. However, Velasquez has given up five runs on 10 hits in 8 2/3 innings on the road. The Phillies are 10-25 their past 35 games versus right-handed starters and 23-57 overall as road underdogs.
