Philadelphia at Atlanta

Philadelphia has not done much offensively this season, but what they have done is made advancements over where this team came from. This is a team that averaged just 2.9 runs per game through May 15th, but they have since averaged just shy of four runs per game, and obviously have a chance to be a lot more competitive. Kevin Correia has been the victim of six unearned runs in his three starts for the Phillies, but has pitched well enough to keep them in games. Alex Wood has faced the Phillies twice this season without a decision, and has allowed 14 hits in 10 innings, and the Phillies are swinging the bats better now. Wood has not fared well on an extra day of rest where Atlanta owns a 1-8 record in his last nine. Back the road dog Phillies.
