Moore has settled down after two rough starts, and he allowed just one run on five hits in seven innings at Tampa Bay on Tuesday. Trevor Cahill makes his second start for Oakland, and he comes off a 4-3 season with a 4.93 ERA in 2017 as a starter and reliever. The Athletics enjoyed two impressive wins over Boston, including a no-hitter by Sean Manaea on Saturday, but they are just 3-5 on the road this season. The Athletics have also lost six of the last eight meetings at Texas.
