Oakland at Texas

Oakland has won two straight while getting great pitching and it is 6-3-1 UNDER on the season. The Athletics allowed only one run the last two games of the Detroit series and won both and Alex Wood starts tonight with a 2-0 record and a 2.05 ERA and 1.03 WHIP in four career starts against Texas. Wood pitched better his second appearance this year allowing three runs in five innings against Boston after not making it through the fourth on Opening Day. Nathan Eovaldi comes off seven shutout innings on four hits against Tampa Bay. Wood is 8-0 on the road following a team's win. Texas is 17-21 at home after a loss the past two seasons.
