Oakland at Tampa Bay

The A's haven't exactly been knocking down road wins all season, while Tampa Bay is slowly creeping out of the race in the AL East, if not already out of it. These teams are playing beneath their given level in the moment. The Rays have gotten more out of Jeff Niemann on the road, as he is just 1-3 at home where his ERA swells by 1.5 runs compared to his road resume. Meanwhile, the A's have another promising arm in Guillermo Moscoso who has pitched admirably to a 3.41 ERA. It is true that the A's have been ugly on the road, but the Rays have had big problems getting motivated at home vs. teams with a road winning percentage of less than .400, dropping their last four. Combine that with Niemann's home struggles, and the number here is simply over-inflated. Go with Oakland in this one.
