Oakland continues to shine and comes into this game at 12-5 on the season. The Rays were projected at or near the top of the AL East, but a 6-10 start has left them in last place. Oakland leads the majors with 99 runs scored, which is problematic for the light-hitting Rays. Hellickson has poor numbers in four appearances vs. the A's, resulting in a 5.40 ERA. Neither pitcher is off to a good start, so hitters should decide this contest, and right now the A's have a big edge in that department. Oakland has slugged their way to a 56-23 mark in their last 79 vs. a right-handed starter. The Rays are just 2-8 in Hellickson's last 10 starts as a chalk of -150 or less. Play on Oakland.
