Oakland at Seattle

Both these teams are disappointed with their poor starts, and they are separated by just a half-game in the standings. Seattle has been in a big struggle of late as the Mariners have won just four of their last 13 games, and one of their last six. The culprit has been poor pitching. Seattle in those six games has allowed at least five runs in all of them and 46 total runs at 7.7 a contest. It is very difficult to back a pretty strong favorite that has been so vulnerable on the mound and a bullpen that has been severely overworked. Oakland has split the two games in this series thus far and has scored plenty of runs and I expect them to be in this one. Make the play on Oakland.
