Oakland at Seattle

Seattle hit two homers and scored three runs in the fifth inning, and that was enough to defeat the Athletics 3-2 last night for the Mariners' second straight win in this series. The Mariners have Bryce Miller on the mound tonight and he has been sensational in his four starts this season, allowing only four runs on 11 hits and no homers in 25 1/3 innings. Seattle has won three of his starts and in his one appearance against Oakland he gave up one run on two hits in six innings. Ken Waldichuk is still in the majors only because he pitches for Oakland as he has a 6.85 ERA and 1.85 WHIP overall. Away from home he owns a 8.39 ERA and .306 opponent batting average. The Athletics are 10-40, including 5-20 on the road and Seattle has won the past five meetings. Take the Mariners - Max Play
