The AL West already shows up as five teams without a winning record. The Athletics are making slow progress, but if things go right they could be a .500 team. The Mariners are looking for more than that, and a .500 season would be disappointing. Seattle will go as far as their pitching will take them, as the M's finished last year ranked #27 in total runs scored. In what shapes up like a coin toss for me, I'll grab the plus-money on the road squad to make it two straight. Back the A's to win.
