Oakland is a road favorite again, but is stumbling, losing six of the last nine games. That included losing yesterday to these Mariners 7-5 as -130 chalk. In fact, they are 1-3 the last four games, losing all three times as a favorite. Oakland winds up a seven-game road trip here, and has looked road weary. The Athletics are 2-6 in their last eight road games and 1-5 as a road favorite. Starter Jarrod Parker (6-6) has struggled against division rival Seattle with a 5.48 ERA against them, allowing 13 walks and 17 hits in 23 innings. Seattle is off that nice win and feeling good, part of an eight-game home stand. The Mariners are 5-2 in their last seven games as a home underdog of +110 to +150. Seattle righty, Jeremy Bonderman (3.28 ERA), has been a great addition, walking just seven in 24+ innings and allowing 21 hits. His last three starts: 0.90 ERA! Bonderman has allowed just two runs combined over his last three starts (20 innings). The home team is 20-6 in umpire Brian Knight's last 26 games behind home plate, as well as 37-15 in his last 52 Sunday get-away-day games. Play the Mariners.
