Oakland at Seattle

The Seattle Mariners are double-digits below .500, but that has been a product of not being able to win on the road. They have been a much better team at home where they have played .500 baseball on the season as we approach the halfway marker. Aaron Harang opened the season about as bad as it gets, but he has gradually been chipping away at an ugly ERA, and does own two complete game shutouts. Dan Straily has been inconsistent, and off a bad start vs. the Rangers, and his ERA is just a tick below 5, so he certainly hasn't been the A's best option on the hill. The A's have not been very good as a road favorite of late, as they are just 2-6 in their last eight as road chalk from -110 to -150. Play on Seattle.
