Eric Surkamp gets the start due to the injury to Felix Doubront and a decent showing in spring training. The left-hander appeared in only one game last year and Seattle batters are 0-7 against him overall. Taijuan Walker had a terrible April in 2015 with a 6.86 ERA and allowing 15 earned runs in 15.2 innings. Walker didn't start getting batters out on regular basis until June and ended the season 11-8. Oakland batters are hitting .364 with a .934 OPS against Walker. This is a good spot for a big value play on Oakland, so back the Athletics.
