The A's rose for 14 runs a few games ago, but that certainly wasn't a sign that the offense had discovered some life. The A’s are back to their old ways with just 4 runs in their last two, and the tally of games where they have plated 3 or less has now reached a major league leading 26. The pitching-rich Giants took a blow when Pablo Sanduval was sidelined with an injury turning a punchless lineup into further problems. In their last 14 games, the Giants have topped the 4-run mark just once. The Giants are an under happy 34-16-3 following a win and 21-12-4 in their last 37 vs. the AL West, also to the short side of the total. The A's are now 30-11-1 to the UNDER when opening a series, and Cahill has led them to a 20-8-1 mark to the UNDER in his last 29 starts vs. a winning team. The UNDER is my play.
