The Bay-area rivalry starts action tonight, with the A's playing in San Francisco. It takes shape as a pitching duel as two weak offenses square off against top pitchers. Tim Lincecum has been really dazzling and is headed for stardom. Lincecum has allowed just five runs in his last three starts, and is pitching to an ERA of under three for the season. He will face Vin Mazzaro, who many may have not heard about, but if you haven't, you will soon. Mazzaro has made two starts for the A's and has not allowed a run. He went 7.1 innings in his last outing, allowing just five hits, and more importantly, walking no one! The A's have played a lot of totals from 7-8.5 for an American League team, but they have not letdown the under bettors as they are 35-16-1 with those totals. They have also played to a 6-0 mark in their last six as a dog. The Giants are now 22-8-2 to the UNDER against teams with a losing record, and 9-2 at home with a total of 7-8.5 to the UNDER as well. These teams have also played 19-7-1 to the UNDER in their last 27 in San Francisco. I'm going with the UNDER here.
