Oakland at Pittsburgh

The Pittsburgh Pirates have been tough at home this season, and have dropped the first two games to Oakland in this series. The Pirates were once woeful in interleague play, but this is a much better team than any they previously had. Since interleague play began, and they had won eight straight interleague contests heading into this series. The Pirates have only lost two straight times at home this season twice, and both times they came roaring back for the win in their next game.  Francisco Liriano at 8-3 and a 2.20 ERA has taken on the form of his rookie season when he was dominating hitters.
