Oakland at New York

The New York Yankees have dropped two straight games, but remain a potent team, especially in the Bronx. They took a blow in losing Montgomery for six weeks or so, but Domingo German stepped in quietly, and dealt a six-inning gem in his first start. Oakland broke out with 10 runs last night, but had previously scored two or fewer in five straight games. German became the first Yankee pitcher ever to throw six hitless innings in his first ever start, and he retired 18-of-20 hitters he faced. The Yankees have a positive ROI at the Stadium, covering over 1000 games and are even better off a home favorite loss, and it is now series Game 2. Play on New York.
