Oakland at New York

New York suffered a rare loss on Thursday night after erasing a 4-0 deficit and then losing 5-4 to the Red Sox for only its second loss in 19 games. The Yankees now are tied for first with Boston in the AL East and still are 16-6 at home. Oakland is 7-10 on the road and just got swept at home by the Astros while scoring a total of only five runs while allowing 24. Sonny Gray will be facing his former team and he has pitched well his last two outings after a shaky start to the season. Gray has given up four runs on eight hits his last 12 innings, including a 5-2 win over Cleveland on Saturday. Kendall Graveman is the probable starter for the Athletics and he is 0-5 with an 8.89 ERA this season. Oakland has lost four of its last five road games and the Yankees are 38-13 their last 51 home games dating to last season. Take the Yankees.
