Oakland at New York

I feel that we have a solid dog today against the Yankees in the Oakland A's. Randy Johnson is clearly not the dominating MVP that he once was with the Diamondbacks or even years past with New York. Johnson has had only one decent start in recent memory and that was 0 earned runs in 6 innings of ball against the Tigers. However, in games prior to that in the last four starts he has given up 19 earned runs and averages around 5 innings a ballgame. Haren on the other hand as most Oakland pitchers has the capacity to be dominating as he has beat the Yankees twice this year in which both games were easy wins of 9-4 and more recently 6-1. Haren pitched great in his last time out giving up just 3 hits in 6 innings of shutout ball against the Twins. He has a capacity to get on a roll as he did earlier this year by picking up three straight wins against the Blue Jays, Yankees and Giants and I beleive he gets rolling today too. Coming off series against the hated Red Sox, New York is apt to get surprised. The last time this happened, Kansas City upset the Yanks as a +380 underdog!
