Oakland at New York

Oakland continues to get great line value by the oddsmakers even though the Athletics have displayed some good pitching this season. They will try to go up 2-1 in this series with Joe Boyle on the mound. Boyle had two great outings in between a couple bad starts, including a 10-2 loss to Cleveland on Friday. However, the Oakland bullpen has five saves with a 2.81 ERA and a 1.16 WHIP and the relievers pitched two scoreless innings on Tuesday. Clarke Schmidt has made three career starts against the Athletics and has a 5.17 ERA and a 1.53 WHIP against them. New York has averaged only 3.13 runs its past eight games and has lost five of nine.
