Michael Pineda has allowed nine runs and 13 hits in 11 innings and he was the starter with plenty of run support in the Yankees' 16-6 win against Houston. Eric Surkamp is making his third start and has given up four runs in nine innings. Only one player on the Yankees team has faced Surkamp in his career and New York is batting just .215 against left-handers this season.
