Oakland at New York

The Oakland A's have won the AL West the last two seasons, and own the lead this year as we approach the halfway mark in the season. The A's have lost two in a row for just the second time in their last 27 games, and allowed 10 runs here last night as the Mets have a lot going for them right now. They have not only scored 26 runs in their last three games, but their pitching has been outstanding, as they have allowed a stingy 11 runs in their last six games, including a pair of shutouts. The A's have found the going tough in interleague road games where they have now dropped four straight, and overall they are just 3-7 on the road vs. a right-hander in their last 10. The Mets have had their number, as the A's are a woeful 1-7 in the last eight meetings, including 1-6 in The Big Apple. The home team gets this one.
