Oakland at Minnesota

Both Oakland and Minnesota have limited payrolls over the years, but somehow they manage to get results in most years. Minnesota is coming off of a 10-1 run over an 11-game stretch, but after losing two straight to the lowly Orioles, they come into this series looking rather vulnerable. The A's, for some reason, have fared better on the road as they are coming off a six-game homestand where they failed to win a game. I think this is a fairly even matchup as both teams are carrying some recent baggage, so I like Oakland to keep it close. Play Oakland on the runline.
